Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights

Hon. Clint Camilleri B. E&A (Hons.) A&CE
Parliamentary Secretary
for Agriculture, Fisheries
& Animal Rights

Hon. Clint Camilleri, at the age of 29, is one of the youngest members of the Maltese Cabinet of Ministers, and is currently the Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights of the Republic of Malta.

Hon. Clint Camilleri is an architect and civil engineer by profession. He studied at the University of Malta and at the University of Kentucky (USA), holding a Bachelor in Architecture and Civil Engineering from the former University.

Having been active in politics since his teenage years, he successfully contested his first-ever local council election in March 2012 and was elected Mayor of his village in Gozo, becoming one of the youngest mayors in Malta. After falling short by only 200 votes from being elected in the European Parliament in 2014, he was successfully elected in the Maltese General Election in 2017.

Being passionate about the Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Right sectors, after growing up in and around Maltese farmland and coast, Hon. Camilleri is determined that, regardless of his relatively young age, he successfully manages the vast sectors under his responsibility.
