Front Office

The Front Office (FO) within the Agriculture and Rural Payments Agency (ARPA) is committed to deliver an excellent customer service providing a wide range of services. Its aim is to provide each customer with a high quality response, ensuring that requests and complaints are dealt with quickly, fairly and in a helpful manner.
The services provided by the Front Office include:
  • Requests for the withdrawal of registered agricultural land
  • Requests for new registration of agricultural land
  • Transfer of registered agricultural land from one individual to another
  • Modification of the boundary of a registered agricultural land
  • Change in the land use type of an agricultural land
  • Requests to start a new commitment for the Agri-Environmental-Climate Measures (RDP 2014-2020)
  • Submission of payment claims related to area aid schemes – Direct Payments, Rural Development Measures 2014-2020, Rural Development Measures 2007-2013, National Aid Schemes and Apiculture Schemes
  • Receipt of objection forms and complaints
  • Receipt of supporting documentation related to all measures
  • Requests for change in personal details
  • Provision of information and technical advice
  • Registrations related to Nitrates Registry

 

 
Time frames for requests and payment claims are announced on a regular basis through this website.

The staff at the Front Office strives to offer the highest level of service to all our customers and are always pleased to discuss individual needs and specific requirements. Each member of the staff takes the responsibility for resolving and dealing with your query by referring it to the appropriate section within the Agriculture and Rural Payments Agency.

Technical Advice

 
Technical advice is also part of the services that are offered by the Front Office. This includes information and advice related to:
  • Procedures to be followed for the transfer of land
  • A detailed explanation of payments issued
  • Eligibility criteria of EU and National Aid Schemes
  • Regulations and policies to be adopted by an applicant in order to be compliant for such measures
